Another Perspective

The show ‘Blind Theater – Another Perspective’ tells the story of a domestic worker and her employer, who are both undergoing cancer treatment at the same time. The two women are at different stages of the disease, with the domestic worker nearly cured and the employer just beginning chemotherapy. Their relationship reveals the different attitudes and challenges faced by people from distant social classes when confronted with this challenge. At the same time, understanding each other’s circumstances leads to a friendship that becomes their main tool in the fight. Despite the delicate theme, the plot unfolds with a lot of lightness, humor, and sensitivity, guiding the audience to a deeper reflection on the emotional, social, and behavioral aspects of the disease. The story touches on generosity, empathy, love, fear, overcoming obstacles, respect, and self-esteem. Since the play takes place entirely in the dark, it further engages the audience’s perception, allowing the theme to be addressed with even greater sensitivity and depth.
